As a doctor who firmly believes in the power of trust and empathy in creating better health outcomes, my passion lies in helping more people achieve positive health outcomes. I take great pleasure in being a health advocate and ally, knowing that my care contributes significantly to my patients’ improved health.
My medical knowledge is extensive, shaped by diverse experiences including working as an emergency registrar, a general practitioner, and gaining exposure in regional hospitals. These experiences have helped me develop a well-rounded approach to patient care. Since starting my practice in 2007, I have found my true calling as a GP. Building strong patient-doctor relationships, being deeply invested in my patients’ wellbeing, and providing exceptional aftercare are aspects of my role that I value immensely.
Outside of medicine, my life is filled with activities that bring me joy and balance. I love practicing yoga, swimming, and cooking. My Malaysian heritage shines through in the kitchen, where I enjoy mastering my favorite recipes and exploring the rich, aromatic flavors of Malaysian and Indian cuisines. Additionally, I find tranquility in playing the piano and painting, hobbies I look forward to dedicating more time to. Recently, I’ve developed a passion for running, aimed at enhancing my cardiovascular fitness. I’m excited about the prospect of completing my first half marathon soon. This journey, both professional and personal, is not just about my achievements but about the wellbeing and health of those I care for.
